Aiming to curb the deer population, the state legislature has approved a bill that would allow bow hunters to shoot at deer as close as 150 feet from homes. Currently, hunters have to be 450 feet from occupied buildings.

Hate this idea. Already its not great when we hear all the guns out in the fields next to our house. |

Bow hunting is a totally different form of hunting. The arrows can only travel at most 40-50 yards unless aimed up into the air. The deer population needs to be controlled.
Would you rather hear gun shots in a field next door or strike a deer while driving or worse yet swerve because of a deer and drive off road striking a pole or a tree?
BTW hunters contribute significantly to the state by not only keeping the deer population in check but also spend tremendous amounts of money on permits and licenses. |

Your right no worries. Because accidents never happen when people are hunting, right? And I am sure a hunter would never accidentally get to close to someones home and accidentally shoot johnny or jenny? |
