Senior Citizens Trip to see “America’s Sweethearts” (3/21/2007)
The Cranbury Recreation Commission will be sponsoring a Senior Citizens luncheon theatre trip to see “America’s Sweethearts” at the beautiful Grand Chalet in Wayne, NJ. The artists will take you on a musical journey through the careers of Jeanette MacDonald and Nelson Eddy, the most celebrated singing couple in movie history. Presented with humor, drama, trivia and the songs that endeared them to a nation, this show is a must see. Sing along to “Ah Sweet Mystery of Life”, “September Song”, and many, many more.
The lunch menu will include: sliced fresh fruit w/strawberry glaze, garden salad with homemade Italian dressing, CHOICE OF: chicken francaise or roast beef au jus served with Grand Chalet potatoes and mixed vegetable medley, chocolate mousse dessert and red & white wine, soda, coffee and tea.
The deluxe motor coach bus will leave from the Village Park parking lot at 9:00 am. The bus will return at approximately 6:00 pm. The fee for this trip is $39.50. Space is limited to the first 50 registrants so register early!
