Meadow named for Judy Dossin

For many in Cranbury, Judith Trimble Dossin is a name synonymous with generosity, friendship and pride.

"She was very gregarious, knew a lot of people, very happy, always involved, and always there. Whatever was going on, she was there," said Chris Parker, one of her closest friends.

Ms. Dossin died Saturday at her Wynnewood Drive home. She was 60. A funeral service was held Wednesday at the United Methodist Church of Cranbury, 21 N. Main St., Cranbury, with the Rev. John M. Foster officiating.

Though she did not live in Cranbury all of her life —she was born and raised in Eaton Rapids, Mich., to the late Maurice and Hortense Trimble — she is considered by many to be one of the people most responsible for the high quality of life in the area.
