Its obvious that its easy to bash something when it gets in your way. A little competition may be scary but to bash a new venture is low. |

I dont think these people are selling cupcakes at Teddy's all the time. They are probably just starting out to see how they do and then move to a bigger kitchen. Why critisize people for TRYING something new. We should all be supporting small businesses because there are not a lot around. I am sure George and Teddy know these people who are selling cupcakes and no one has got sick or died. Leave it alone.
Good for you Village Cupcake - what a great idea and wish you all the success in the future!!
We all need to support small business!!
Maybe the people who are so negative need to mind their own business or how about going to Teddy's and meeting new people - you might enjoy yourself. I am sure the regulars at Teddy's would love for new people to be here!!
Lets support our small town and accept everyone - it makes it such a better place!!! |

Good for you Cranbury small business supporters!! Support local business!!
And to the HATERS.....who do you think YOU are to criticize and point fingers at this new business venture. And YES, Teddy and George DO know the people who are selling and making these cupcakes!! Do you think they would really sell anything that would hurt anyone? Really get a life, get a clue and learn the facts before you start posting NONSENSE on this forum. I'll bet that you didn't know that the cupcake sellers had a LICENSE to sell and make cupcakes? Did you?! I didn't think so. You need to mind your own business and start worrying about what we may uncover about you. |

Offsite is very different from "made at home". And, in case you wanted to read an excerpt from the health code that deals with this, here you go:
8:24-3.2 Sources, specifications, and original containers and records
(a) Sources requirements include the following:
1. Food in the retail food establishment shall be obtained from a source which is in compliance with applicable State and local laws
and regulations.
2. Food prepared in a private home shall not be used or offered for human consumption in a retail food establishment.

Who has enough time to look things like this up??? REALLY?? they are CUPCAKES!!! Its not like Teddy's is selling CRACK....haha - this is funny that one person is going crazy and looking things up...
And how do you know Teddys is SELLING them - what are the LAWS about someone going to Teddy's and SHARING cupcakes NOT SELLING?? Betcha I got you on that one!!!
Are there not other things we should focus on in this world other then Teddy's selling cupcakes - legal or not? And the sad thing is someone like this ruins it for the other people who are enjoying this.
Just to note - I have not been to Teddy's on Friday night - but have heard great things about the music and everything that goes on. I have had other things going on but I AM HAPPY to see others enjoying themselves!!! |

I can't even begin to imagine what sort of image this cupcake controversy
conjures up in the minds of those non-Cranburians, who just happen to be visiting this forum for the first time. I'm sure they must think, "gee, I wonder what other pressing issues is the town facing"... perhaps budgets and probable tax increases? |

I believe we should discuss the merits of grey poupon next in this town. The budget and property tax discussion can wait. |

Hey Mr. Webmaster, please spare us this jibber-jabber and shut down this thread. Freedom of speech is wrecklessly spiraling downwards when it comes to arguing over a mere cupcake. |
