High-quality roses for a lower price
Anthony Salerno snuck quietly out of his house early last Valentine's Day morning. He returned before anyone even realized he had left and his wife, Sue, awoke to a vase of flowers arranged on the kitchen table.
"They were beautiful," she gushed as she recalled the romantic surprise. "Really, the most beautiful roses I have ever gotten. The color was pinkish red and the thing that really impressed me about them is within a day of getting them they started to open up. They opened up and were beautiful and they just lasted forever."
That day, Ms. Salerno, of Blossom Way in Monroe, was one of many local women surprised with these high quality red roses, which came from the Cranbury Lions Club's Valentine's Day fundraiser.
