I am very happy that a local business like Teddy's is doing well and its great that it has loyal, satisfied customers. But it's not for everyone. My family has been there 4-5 times over the years and we didn't like the food any of the times. That doesn't make it bad, just not right for us. The point is there, it doesn't have the market cornered so if someone else wants to give it a go, more power to them. We for one, would love another option.

I agree, I think of Teddy's and am immediately turned off. The food is ok but it just doesn't look clean. I would like another option as well.

Agreed - Teddy's just isn't right for us either. I'd love another option too.

The food doesn't look clean?
What the Hell does that mean?
Teddy's make a GREAT breakfast.
Everyone in town eats there, Felix Unger.
Quit yer yappin' and tuck in like everyone else.
It's a luncheonette. Wadda ya expect, your Highnesss?
I've had a few great meals there, and a couple of lousy ones, but, overall, it's pretty decent.
We're sorry if the peasant food is not up to your Majesty's distinguished palate. You can travel to NY city and eat at Bobby Flay's or Mario Batali's if you like.
Good ole 'Merican grub.

What a dumb reply. The poster didn't say the food didn't look clean. The food was "ok" and they meant the place didn't look clean.

Uh, no, not everyone in Cranbury eats there. I would say of our friends and neighbors at most it's 50-50.

Get over what? No one had a problem with Teddy's being there. It's the posters who seem defensive about Teddy's that seem to have a problem to get over.

Point of information. Who are these YUPPIES? By definition there are no YUPPIES in Cranbury. YUPPIE as a term refers to Young Urban Professional. Call Cranbury whatever you want but Urban would be incorrect.

After you idiots are done arguing over not knowing anything.... the strip club is sounding better.
Maybe they will have school class trips there?
Show the K-8 boys what they can spend their money on or the girls what careers are available...

LMAO

Hey why not an ice cream store or pizzeria or a bank or a Midas muffler will open up in town.

BTW Teddy's Rocks!

Perhaps a little pub with some microbrew beers and ales. Then we could do away with this little anonymous forum and solve the world and town problems face to face

I second this !!!!!!!!!
Let's call it Brainerd's Pub to keep the Hysterical Society happy.

We already have wonderful Italian food right here in Cranbury. A small beer joint with music on the weekends would be great

What are you referring to?

Never could understand why Hysterical instead of Historical. I think you're mixing CHPS up with another group!

No mix up, it's hysterical all the rules they come up with.

The historical society is a private group. They don't have anything to do with town rules.

The historic preservation commission is a town entity that creates rules on how things have to look and be done. The two groups don't mix and actually many society members oppose the restrictive town commission.

So I do not understand hysterical society either. Hysterical commission I would get.

Just in case no one has noticed, Molto Bene' is moving into the Hot Wok space. Looks like it will be a nice addition to Main St.

I spoke with Jay Taylor. He said he spoke with one of the owners and they are targeting to open by early November.

I have been to this place when it was in Hightstown. It will be the best thing to happen in Cranbury in years. The sooner the better.
