Facts sort of take the wind out of the sails of people wanting to raise spurious posts, don't they?

Frankly, it does not matter in my opinion that the OP is related to another local business. The situation should have been handled better (make the customer happy). That said, I am still a Teddy's fan.

Teddy's food is nasty, the only reason people go there is to stay regular. Guess it's a good way to save money for folks that need a little extra help going.

Has anyone ever attended Teddy's Friday music nights? If so, what are your thoughts and/or comments? I for one enjoy it.

We enjoyed that too, but couldn't get passed the food enough to want to do it regularly. It seems were not alone in the food opinion -- even some of the regulars say its not great. That seems like a solvable problem. Can't they work on it? They have the location, the loyalty of the community, the music and local tie-ins. If we didn't dislike the food we would patron often. Even if we were neutral about the food we probably would, as we do with Cranbury Pizza.

Wouldn't it be great if Teddy's started introducing some really great dishes? Start simple, like a truly great hamburger - fresh, high-quality meat, seasoned and cooked correctly, with a choice of good toppings. Yes, it would probably cost a bit more than their current burger, but I would happily pay a premium for a great burger.

Wouldn't it be nice if we all realized we are part of a greater community where our words, actions, and choices can build people up or tear them down. If you put negativity into the world, it will only be more prevalent in your own life.

When you are unsatisfied with an event in your life, resolve it in a manner that satisfies you personally and does not destroy others. In this case, a dissatisfied customer chose a public lashing rather than going to the owner to resolve the issue. You have a personal choice to eat at Teddy's and enjoy the community feel or simply walk away. What good comes out of a public flogging? What does a person who chooses to be so negative gain?

To Teddy's ~ thank you for all you have provided and continue to provide to our community!

Well the funny thing is Anthony Nichols started this post. And then when people start talking bad about his business others get mad and say it is not right! He is the person who started this post, he was the person who talked bad about another business in town. Teddys did nothing wrong in this situation. I think RA NICHOLS owes Teddy's and apology IMO!

Why? I haven't heard the facts disputed. Why is it wrong to post something true? And for those saying it should have been resolved offline, it sounds like that was attempted without success. Perhaps teddy's should apologize for not resolving the unsanitary food situation once it was identified.

My family and I eat out quite frequently and myself and my husband have gotten a hair in our food and never made this big a deal out of it. So what, they had to pay for the sandwich. Are they that hard up for money? Maybe now everyone in town is finding out he's the only plumber charging a flat rate and ripping off people. As stated before, the facts aren't being disputed, but the way they chose to handle the issue is. Did they go home and cry in their pillow?? Did they scream at the top of their lungs WHY US??????? Why doesn't Anthony and Stacy Nichols grow up, it must be nice to have nothing else in your life to worry about then a piece of hair in a sandwich. Maybe they should eat at home from now on so no more of their food can be contaminated by the outside world.

The funny thing is they are complaining about a $4 sandwich! Its not a big deal! I do have to say $650 is a little more to complain about then $4...

I think it has already been stated that the waitress apologized to them. Would they like George to personally call him to say he is sorry. Maybe he would like it if George would refund him $2 , she did eat half of the sandwich!!

Exactly, all the more reason it was silly for them to still charge for it after the hair was found and they couldn't finish it. It was only a $4 item and cost them far less. Putting aside all the negative attention its gotten on this site, isn't the good will of a local customer worth more than a buck or so of food? Can they really afford to alienate customers over a buck?
