What’s up with the Cranbury School buses completely blowing getting the high school kids to their finals on time today? Not like that’s important or anything. Don’t our kids have enough to worry about without having to stand around for 30 minutes waiting for a late bus to not even get to school before the tests are supposed to begin? Princeton ended up having to delay the start of the finals to accommodate them but still very stressful for the kids and for the parents who were waiting to make sure the buses showed up.
It seems like the whole system is a mess. Our bus for the elementary and middle school is already routinely late. And now it sounds like they tried to have the already typically late buses do the Cranbury School run first knowing that went they would be rushing to turn around and get the kids to Princeton on time for their finals, and they didn’t factor in the substantially higher traffic at 8:30-9:30 versus 6:30-7am.
I guess we’ll have to work on some carpooling for next week to get the kids there for their finals because we can’t count on the busing. |

| Guess so...........sorry to hear this ruined your whole day. You seem very stressed about it. Have you contacted the bus company to advise them of this terrible diservice they have done to you and your children ? I agree with you, someone's head needs to roll over this ! |

No one said anything about heads rolling except you. The busing is managed by the Cranbury School. Parents have no access to the bus company directly. Of course people have spoken to the school about this and the ongoing busing issues. Your sarcasm aside, it is a terrible disservice if the bus routine gets the gets to school after it starts. Doesn't sound like you have school age kids dependent on the bus. This is a preventable problem. |

Things happen in life beyond our control sometimes.
Our kids learn to roll with the punches.
Our street we pull a quick car pool pretty quickly when there was a bussing problem last year. |

A bus that is usually late day after day is not a "punch" and it is not "out of our control." If it were just once in a while, that's a punch and stuff happens moment, but an ongoing problem is something to be managed and solved. Why should we have to organize a permanent car pool for the entire year rather than expecting that they would organize the route and hire professionals who can deliver kids on time most of the time? |

We've seen pretty habitual lateness on the busses for both middle school and high school.
We resorted to driving to school for Cranbury.
Not looking for a lynching mob here, but certainly need to bring this up to the right school officials. |
