I cant help but notice the boat on Jefferson rd in Shadow Oaks. This eyesore has been parked on the side of the road for some time now and its a shame we have to look at it every time we go down the road. I was just wondering if there is any zoning against this kind of thing;its starting to look like Twin Rivers out here!

Enjoy the weekend, stop crying. If you want to know about zoning go to the township and ask them there.

I haven't seen the boat but it sounds like it does not comply with the zoning. You could call Town Hall and the zoning officer can get involved.

Snooty Cranbury strikes again. Sorry not everyone can afford to live in your privileged town. Twin Rivers is just fine.

These types of posts always amuse me. It's not being snooty. It's protecting the quality of the place you live and its character.

It's funny you mention twin Rivers because there's a whole street full of piece of junk boats that borders twin Rivers. Twin Rivers is not fine. It's actually very troubled community as evidenced by the mounting difficulty around financing property purchases there and troubles within their homeowners association.

Sorry to sound snooty, but we don't feel bad about protecting the aesthetic value of our town.

What does this have to do with "affording" anything? The property owner in question can obviously afford to buy a house in Cranbury, pay property taxes and buy a recreational boat and up-keep it. So it's not to do economics. It's just about complying with the law.

The boat had been moved. It was traffic hazard. Glad that it was moved.
