I had stopped using Facebook since last year.
You (your data and your friends' data) are the *product* Facebook sells to advertisers and any entity that pays Facebook.
You are essentially an unpaid recruiter for Facebook. |

Why do you folks have to respond to postings you don't like using words like "trolling" and "old fart"?

Trolling isn't an insult, its a descriptive word for a certain kind of behavior. If someone in-person claimed to be something they weren't to create fake controversy, yes I would say they are trolling to their face without hesitation. The first post above is clearly fake, posted to try and stir controversy and get a reaction. Thus trolling. |

The trolling was the first post, not the second.
It's only a lazy word if someone is randomly throwing it out as an insult. It's not a lazy word, but the most correct and efficient one when being used to describe the act of trolling, which has a clear and specific definition. |
