Cranbury Township Board of Health - Corona Update
The Cranbury Board of Health met last night to get a briefing about the Coronavirus(COVID-19or 2019-nCoV) from representatives of the Middlesex County Health Department. Attendees included Board of Health members, as well as representatives from the Cranbury School, the Mayor and the Deputy Mayor. Attendees received an update about the Coronavirus, how to prevent it from spreading, and where to go to get more information. One of the biggest takeaways from the meeting was an emphasis on basic precautions such as washing your hands, staying home if you’re sick, and limiting contact with anyone who is ill.

Crickets from the township committee
They have told us about leaf collection and coffee with the mayor not about what is being done in cranbury to protect us
The township committee is pretending everything is fine
They are letting gatherings happen which are probably spreading the virus in cranbury
Thankfully south Brunswick has local updates
The mayor and township committee are failing us
We can not depend on our town government |

Are you seriously not getting enough updates and guidance about how to respond to the coronavirus? What could the township possibly say that would cause you to act differently that you’re already planning? |

I think what people are asking is not the health aspect. But what is the town doing to ensure operations continue if the people we count on to run the town like police, fire, ems and town hall employees become sick. And what are they doing to support residents that may need help
like seniors. Other towns have communicated their plans. |

There are a number of very highly paid Township employees , who will be collecting very nice State pensions long after they leave Cranbury, long after most of us without pensions will continue paying high NJ taxes to pay for their pensions. Perhaps we should be hearing from them regarding a plan should it become necessary. |
