Oh, didn't realize that was the issue. Sorry, I am way out dated here. We/ some resident attendees way back when just though it should be less dense, that's all. Then the bad "age targeted" assunptions were used to make that seem ok. Seems it's an issue with there being comemrcial? I didnlt realize that. I'll shut back up now. |

Why was missed were things like the issue of fencing along Main St. was not supposed to be allowed and it had to be fixed, electric boxes were supposed to be on the inside of the development not on Old Cranbury or Main, doors were supposed to be different, AC conditioners were to be placed inside the development.
Those are the types of things that were missed. If I recall correctly it was about 30 pages largerly design items agreed upon and then ignored by the developer.
The idea the town had was to have the homes look like they fronted on Main st. |

yea- that was a huge part of the agreement (facing Main) and what was said at the meetings. I was suprised to see the utilities out front too.
We all watched the building process as we drove by....unfortunately, we all didn't have the right to inspect it. the fact that these are the things missed/ not manage through the process is mind blowing. The design looks good though. |
