Yes I understand that Joe is a Trumper, but I don’t think he would try to pull off a stunt like trying to stay in office or dispute the election like Trump. Bur I’m more concerned about his attitude towards diversity in our town. He has stated that one of his main goals is to “preserve our heritage” - that’s often a good old code word! |
That’s one of the stupidest posts of all time on this site! Seriously? In your expert opinion, the phrase “Preserve our heritage” is code for white supremacy in Cranbury? You are an idiot! |

Based on his passionate support for Trump and Trumpism, Joe is a threat to our town in other ways that I think are more profound. Trumpism espouses conspiracy theories, science denial, racial code words, outright lying and fake news reports, disregard for the rule of law and norms and more….. Can you imagine this type of thinking infiltrating our township meetings? Give me a moderate Republican – what used to be the Republican party – and I’ll consider voting for a Republican again |

So you, the person who thinks "Preserving our Heritage" in Cranbury is part of some nation-wide code-word white-supremacist conspiracy, is worried about Joe being off his rocker?
Get a clue. You are the problem, not Joe. [/b] |

I agree with the posters, Joe Biden is not the problem. I'm glad the Trumpsters realize that.
Now let's check on the record-breaking stock market today... Let's see if Trump tweeted about it. |

I'm trying to level with Trump supporters. I take that as a compliment and that I'm in my way to stoop that low.
Just glad that covid is almost over according to Trump. |

It doesn’t matter who you vote for nationally, Biden is going to win NJ in a landslide. As long as you vote for our local Joe B for Cranbury, we will be fine. “Preserving our heritage” should be important to all of us in Cranbury, even historically oppressed minorities, like me. |

Agree. Preserving our heritage has enabled us to minimize the impact from housing due to farmland preservation, it has led to us protecting the historical center of town and now a review of the Cranbury Station area. Preserving our heritage is what has kept our town small, taxes down and the highschool relationship with Princeton. Joe understands this need and impact. It is not against Matt, but I think farmland preservation and limiting growth is more important than bike paths or the library as failing to focus on preservation puts the town at greatest risk. |

Preservation of Cranbury station road is mostly due to public interest and initiatives by real Democrats. |

American Indians the European settlers drove off of their land? What is "our heritage" anyway?

I think Matt is a real Democrat. I think our Deputy Mayor is also a real Democrat in Mike. Yet, the preservation hasn’t moved forward at the TC level this year. The TC last year made it a priority which is why it is in the Masterplan. Even in the Cranbury Press the real Dems when quoted appeared lukewarm at best. So are they not real Democrats? Article below on this focus.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/centraljersey.com/2020/01/23/discussions-continue-about-the-potential-preservation-of-the-cranbury-station-hamlet/%3famp
I am also wondering
- if Joe is a racist by saying he advocates for preservation
- and Only real Dems advocated for preserving Cranbury station
Then is Joe the only real Dem running because he supports preservation and is the only candidate to say that or are real Dems white supremacists because they advocated preserving this area? |

Preservation?
What preservation??
Cranbury is getting more built up than ever. Residents in the other side of 130 and over on Petty have been treated terribly by the Republicans in town and if course Jay as well, who only became a Democrat because he couldn't win with the other party anymore. |

If you for some reason want to blame a political party (which is insane) for failing to preserve land then it has to be the Dem party. In the last 25 years plus the TC has been controlled by Dems all except 1 year.
This year is the first time I can remember there has been no discussion or attempt to preserve any farmland. |

Because there is almost nothing left to preserve. |

The area across 130 had residents out screaming for two years to preserve the land. Glenn tried to preserve it and Jay tried the land owner would not talk to them. The residents did not come out this year and Matt did not try. Are those residents not really concerned? There are farms on Dey Rd. and the Makouf farm on Cranbury Neck among a few others. But nothing discussed this year. Why? The village was discussed with Econ development. They worked on bike paths and homes for the library.
You can’t blame Republicans who are not in control and then have Dems doing nothing as the standard. If you don’t want more growth why are you not electing those who want to preserve the remaining land and instead electing those who don’t see an issue? |
