Perhaps you’re not up on current events. Important developments with this story have been emerging this week.
Or perhaps you’re not in tune with how impactful the initial reporting of this story was on people in Cranbury. I’m not sure how comforting it is to learn that the racist flyers were yet another hateful hoax, in this case designed to scare Asian and South Asian voters into voting Democrat, but I think it is important that people know the truth. Don’t you? |

You need me to explain the pain caused by what appeared to be explicit racism right down the road from us? What kind of an a-hole are you? |

Edison is in the same county as Cranbury.
I think it’s sad you feel the need to try to deflect shame from the Edison Democrats with your stupid comments/questions. Democrats in particular should stand up and condemn this abhorrent behavior. These a-holes made and distributed a racist flyer that they tried to pin on the opposition party a few days before an election. It is totally unacceptable for the Democrat Party to stoke these fears and racial tension in an effort to get out the vote, and the only way it will stop is if Democrats stop making excuses for it, and stop deflecting shame from it, and refuse to accept this behavior from their own party. |

1) Is there a more recent story than this over 4 month old one? If so, why was it not posted?
2) What does this have to do with Cranbury in any possible way?
3) The story doesn't even say what the poster here alleges it does. If you read the full report, the only person who has been implicated in the sending of the racist fliers is an employee of the restaurant who in turn said he was doing it at the direction of his boss the restaurant owner. That owner, who according to the article actively campaigned against the people maligned in the racist fliers, in turn claimed he had allowed them to process the fliers for the mail in his restaurant but that he otherwise had nothing to do with it. And somehow, the employees he had working on it had no first hand knowledge of the rest of these people he allegedly let do it in his restaurant. It seems like an incredibly unlikely and weak allegation. We're supposed to believe that a bunch of people asked someone who they knew was actively opposed to their campaign and ran an organization they believe had a history of racist sentiment against them to let them borrow his restaurant to send fake fliers that would have the effect of generating sympathy for the people who opposed in the election, and that at some other point he used his own employees on his dime to further prepare these fliers, all while being unaware of their content.
LOL. |

None of your links work, not surprisingly. Still waiting for something updating this story that actually provides any independent verification of the restaurant owner's allegation.
Short of that, it's interesting you are taking the restaurant owner's allegation as fact. Why?
The only verifiable fact in the article was that the restaurant owner's employee's fingerprint was on the flier. That employee said they were following the orders of the owner. That owner, according to the first article in this post, was actively campaigning against the people denigrated in the fliers. But he wants us to believe the people denigrated themselves using his restaurant and employee to do it without his knowledge. Those are the only facts presented so far.
Why do you continue to now address that? What is your agenda? Why not simply logically follow the available facts? |

Original poster, why don’t you share what organization you joined to bring about needed change? |

In a time when racism targeting Asian Americans is all over the National news and this story about racist fear mongering targeted at Asian Americans is all over our local news, your ignorance of current events is only overshadowed by your stunning lack of empathy for Asian Americans.
I noticed you didn’t post a similar reaction to the post about the African American cemetery in Pennington. I guess you would have felt like a real racist a-hole if you showed a total lack of empathy for deceased African Americans simply because their cemetery is a few towns away.
Your reaction shows you’re obviously politically motivated, defending your beloved Democrats from the criticism they obviously deserve, rather than condemning their abhorrent behavior. Clearly, you don’t care if people in our Asian American community live in fear, as long as they vote the way you want. That is the behavior you’re defending and that makes your behavior part of the problem.
You’re probably one of those jack holes who blabs on and on about terrible republicans are who refuse to condemn even Trump’s worst behavior, and yet here you are doing the same thing. |
