To the person on Station Rd. That was setting off fireworks Sunday night; you literally scared all of my chickens to death. You suck as a human being. |

I don’t think it’s possible to scare chickens to death with fireworks. If that were so we’d have complaints every year on the 5th of July when the town does it. I know a couple of people who raise chickens in town had their coops attacked over the weekend by fox or coyotes. Perhaps it’s coincidental. |

I know what a Fox attack looks like. There was no blood, no bite marks or puncture wounds. I’ve lost a coup to a fox and an owl before so I’m experienced with that.
From the internet: “Many keepers have witnessed sudden deaths of many chickens and the reason is mainly loud noises, thunder, fireworks, and predators. Fear can also affect the chicken's egg production as a frightened chicken may lay soft shell eggs or may not lay any eggs at all.”) |

It's very rare for every chicken to have died of a heart attack. Like the other person said there were a few chicken attacks in the area this weekend. Plus there are other people in town who have chickens and the noise did not scare them or kill them. Doubtful this was from fireworks |

Sorry for the loss of your chickens. But I will also have to agree with the other people. Very unlikely it is from fireworks. People set off fireworks in town every single year. Last year with people staying home I heard lots of fireworks being set off. We have 3 dogs and they always get scared, but they also get scared from the thunder too.
I know Jay Taylor has chickens and he is in the same area. Did he lose his chickens too? |

HAHAHAHA...You're really reaching aren't you?? "The sound of your fireworks killed my chickens." You should walk over to the person setting off the fireworks and tell them that they "suck as a human being" rather than post it on here..See how well that works out for you.
This was the funniest post I have seen on here in a while. Thank you for the laugh. I needed that! |

I heard about this today. This guy is looney and a huge trouble maker.
Funny how Jay's chickens are alive and well. Guess the noise didn't scare them. Maybe he has better quality chickens |

Jays chickens were considerably farther away from the blast and have you ever seen a fox attack a coop with out there being any blood or paw prints in the mud after 2 days of rain? |

It would seem fireworks in Cranbury are against the law. That seems like trouble making to me. |

You move out to the country where people like to hunt, fish, shoot, set off fireworks and have for as long as I can remember, and then complain when people hunt, fish, shoot, and set off fireworks. |
