As usual this board is a mess of mean spirited posts. I’m sorry your chickens died. I’m sorry your fellow Cranbury residents are not even close to being sympathetic and now they are discussing patriotism and fireworks. Why does this message board exist other than for trouble and sowing division?

People also ask
Are fireworks patriotic?
Thought to be invented by the Chinese 2,000 years ago, fireworks have been a tradition of America's Fourth of July celebrations since the country's inception, with the founding fathers themselves seeing fireworks fit to mark the birth of their nation.Jul 3, 2013

So now this a- hole is trying to get our fireworks on the 5th taken away?

I have talked to a lot of people in this town. This guy is a freak. Not very well liked.

Well good luck trying to change things in our town crazy man!!

I have no problem with the professional fireworks display here in town. I have a problem with the hold my beer moment that happened Sunday night. Weather you like me or not, think I’m a freak, what happened was irresponsible and dangerous.

As for not liked I’m a friendly person so apparently you hang with an inclusive crowd.

Friendly people don't tell other people they suck as human beings. Even if it were fireworks that killed your chicken, whoever lit them off, I'm sure it was no one's intention to kill animals or hurt anyone. Seems like people were being patriotic and lit off fireworks.

Being that the fireworks were above the 30 foot tree in their back yard
In their back yard means Thais were not the ShopRite end cap. This was an irresistible act. This could have led to serious injury and loss of property. We all live in wooden houses here. That’s why the fireworks set off by the township are set off over the water. Also if you knew anything about ballistic explosives, and audio dynamics, you would know that water causes a muffling effect. Unlike the percussion I could feel in my house.

As for patriotic: Let’s set off fireworks in the rain; here hold my beer.

Hey look, Punk@ssPat is back!

I am sincerely sorry for your chickens. That is truly sad for them and the kids.

As an alternative theory, perhaps they just couldn't take listening to your BS anymore.

Wait - were you not the person telling someone they suck as a human being? just wondering.

Also - those chickens did not die from fireworks.

Its very sad they died, but they died from an attack.

As Jay’s chickens don’t seem to mind fireworks perhaps they can run a therapy session for other chickens in town- “Don’t be a chicken, fireworks are nothing to fear.”

I saw Jay’s chickens doing a keg stand, had music going and we’re hanging in the back of his truck last night watching the fireworks.

Lol...I have heard the chicken having heart attack story from numerous people. Very sad they died but hilarious this guy thinks they all had a heart attack at the same time. While not one other chicken in town was harmed by fireworks.

CHICKEN LIVES MATTER!!!

I heard that with the Police occupied with national night out next week Jay’s chickens plan to throw an underground rager. Heihei and foghorn leghorn are the VIP ambassadors. Chicken little will be spinning with lasers and fireworks. Security provided by Colonel Sanders. They are calling it the Frye Chicken Festival.

Any body know if Jay’s chickens held a 4th of July bash this year?
