I have no clue about this space. But I would guess most people that would rent are mom and pop shops. With it being difficult to get labor, with the inflationary pressures especially in the food and beverage sector and with the unknown of COViD, it is fairly reasonable to think tenants are not lining up to sign new leases. When one drives past you don’t see the interior build out occurring though the exterior is near completion. With that in mind it is reasonable that they have no leases or limited leases in place. |

None of that has been true for a while. |

Those were original tenants and all pulled out. |

According to our mayor, two businesses will soon be opening at the Cranbury Commons. The two are Princeton Soup & Sandwich Company and Scotto's Restaurant. I personally spoke to both businesses, and they have confirmed the news. |

I wonder what impact, if any, will be felt by Cranbury Pizza when Scotto's takes up residence at the Cranbury Commons. I've heard their pizzas are quite good. |

They will do just fine.
We already have Italian Touch and Mr Subs in town that compete. So I am sure Cranbury Pizza will do fine. It isn’t like we don’t have a bunch of pizza places that deliver or are just a few minutes drive. |

Now that Cranbury Commons is getting to a semi completed stage of construction it is about time they clean up the corner of South Main and Old Trenton Road. The sloppy broken up silt fence and signs and garbage
on that corner have been a mess for months now. How about the powers that be take some action to get the place cleaned up. They should grade it and throw on some seed so it looks half way decent. We have had to look at the burned out Cranbury Pizza for years now and we don't need to see this mess any longer. |

The developer owes another retail building in that undeveloped corner of Old Trenton and Main. But agreed that they either need to get moving on it or be forced to clean it up and landscape it until such time as they finish their development commitment.
It is also past time that the Township should condemn the Cranbury Pizza site. It seems the owner under insured it and isn't committed to doing anything any time soon. It will be in that state for many years to come if the Township doesn't take action. |

It is also time that someone does something about this useless board of anonymous complainers. |

great point about the old Cranbury Pizza site. It's not even closed off from additional damage and animal issues, glad they at least cleaned up the items from the post office lawn. Generally I agree that this site has too many complainers, but also some good insights sometimes...,not sure why this suggestion to act on cleaning up this eye sore would bother anyone. I'm optimistic that if it can be condemned (or forced to some other action by town office (parks, building etc) that it will. but, I also believe that some squeaky wheels wouldn't hurt make the right thing happen sooner if it's not a realized priority. I cannot make this TC meeting tomorrow at 7pm tomorrow (site for the meeting: https://www.cranburytownship.org/sites/g/files/vyhlif4296/f/agendas/tc_agenda_042522.pdf) and I don't see it on the agenda. Could someone attend virtually, bring up the issue during the public comments and report back here to these concerned people? |

The failure to address these problems actually lies with a mostly useless Committee who lets the town look like $#%@. Don't bother going to the ZOOM meetings because they never respond to the residents questions. Any response is just a bunch of hot air particularly with the new mayor who pauses with the word "So" and "You Know" so many times because she is such a slow thinker or doesn't know most answers. What a fine mess we are in with our "Leadership" but they are always there for the photo op. |
