The zoning board and planning board just adopted the Masterplan three years ago that affirmed the value of commercial on 130 (not warehouse) and the scenic corridor. I highly doubt the PB or ZB who adopted the Masterplan will now turnaround and grant variances that are so materially different. If they do then any resident could sue the town for failure to follow the Masterplan.
However, the town has to legally hear the applicant. |

What’s scenic about the scenic corridor? |

On a positive note, this would clean up the hundreds of tiny, airplane sized empty plastic liquor bottles on the entrance and in the adjacent woods. |

Not in favor of this warehouse at all. But, a restaurant (not fast food) or other use would be great. Imagine how many drunk drivers leave that lot given they can’t even wait to get home before they drink the small liquor bottles. |

Obviously you have spent time there if you are aware of what’s in parking lot. |

If it increases revenue to the town and keeps property taxes low, why not? |

Yes. It is where we buy ice, beer and wine for parties. Just like most people in town. |

Buy-Rite property is a pig sty. The owners should be ashamed of having such a filthy place. Not shopping there; not supporting that. |

The chances are near certain unless residents who object show up to the meeting to voice their concerns |

I am waiting for a candidate for the township committee to run on a platform to simply repave Route 130 to quiet the truck rumbling noise OR lobby for a sound wall along Route 130 to keep fumes and noise from being discharged into the adjacent homes that were built years before this warehouse craziness began OR to even take up the issue of completion of the Liberty Way Extension Project
OR to just insist that additional turning roadways be built at the intersection of Half Acre road/Route 130 so that the turning trucks don’t take forever to turn and spew their soot and fumes on the adjacent homes in our neighborhood ---- and have the warehouse developer pay for land acquisition and development at this intersection .
Yes and I know that the funding for these projects is done at the county or state level so you are all impotent and don’t have to do or say a damn thing.
Quality of life OR low property taxes
I’ll vote for anybody that will at least publicly talk about these issues |

So you are waiting for for a TC candidate to lie to you? Any candidate who promises this is lying because the only one who can do that work is the state. The town even if they could legally fund it which they can’t, is not able to pave 130.
Liberty way is double the town’s budget. How do you propose the town do something that they can’t fund. It’s like trying to buy a Ferrari on your credit card. The debt limit is not high enough.
And trust me I think this TC is pretty clueless as evidenced by the new bike lane painting that is smack dab in the middle of old Cranbury rd. Someone tell me how that works. |

My friends and I were riding in the bike lane down the middle Of old Cranbury rd enjoying the weather and I can’t believe how many cars were in the lane too. They seemed annoyed following us as we gradually rode taking in the sights. Don’t they realize they were driving in a bike lane? |
