We are looking into moving into the Cranbury area and looking for a rental.
Does anyone know of rentals in Cranbury.
Thanks

If you are having trouble finding a rental house (I don't think there are taht many of them around), my suggestion is you look at the listings of homes for sale and focus on those that have been on the market a long time. Then approach their owners or agents to see if they would consider a longer term rental (at least a year commitment). Some of these sellers may still be on the market because they are not accepting the current market declines. If you can work out a rental rate that at least covers their own costs (which will depend on how long they've owned and what kind of financing or re-financing they did), renting to you may be an attractive alternative to selling during the down market. They recover their costs and can wait for the market cycle to pick up again. This of course is also dependent on whether they need to immediate capital from the sale to finance something else. But if they've been on the market a long time they must not need it that much and they obviously aren't willing to sell for current market value... |
