Committee to give 4 percent municipal salary increase.

The Township Committee wants to give its employees a 4 percent cost-of-living salary increase.
Committeemen Richard Stannard, David Stout and Tom Panconi, who comprise the Personnel Subcommittee, announced on March 28 that all township employees, from the township administrator down, would receive the increase once a resolution is approved by the full committee.
The committee could vote on the resolution in the next month or two.
In addition to the salary increases, the subcommittee is considering merit raises for some employees and is working to give reports to its employees outlining their salary increases and benefits package.
Township police are under separate labor contracts and won't be affected by the resolution.
