If so, then these burglars are professionals, not petty thief. You got me scared. |

For lack of a better word they are gypsys. I know I laughed too, just like when I heard Pirates of the Carribbean were real.
Basically, these groups travel and they move quickly over a couple of weeks. They hit one home and leave. They don't usually hit the same town multiple times because it's easier to hit and run as I am told. So long as you lock doors, windows and use an alarm if you're gone you'll be fine. There is nothing to really worry about so long as you don;t leave doors and windows unlocked when you're gone.
In terms of the scams, just don't answer the door and use reputable contractors.
These groups have been coming for a very long time. So don't worry, there are more serious and likely things to worry about. |
