I have public water. This morning I found light brownish water coming out of faucet. Do you experience the same?

Boy do we ever. We have been in a continuing fight with the water company for a long time. They have tested our water and agree that it is bad but we haven’t been able to get them to fix it. Our water filters cost about the same as our water bill and we are really getting tired of it.

Why are you paying them if the water is proven to be bad ?

My brownish water problem is gone. It seems to be related to the rain (just a guess). This is the first time I had this issue, and I have been using public water in Cranbury for about 6.5 years now.

The water bill does increase a lot (percentage wise) since I moved here.

Interesting. We had that issue, but know it's the pipes in one bathroom. The other faucets are fine.

What is bad about the water in your home? Since it's public water all should have the same issue.

We also have a water filter that is installed in the basement near the water pipe that is coming to the house.

It's not a pipe problem in my case because the issue went away yesterday. Unfortunately, most of my neighbors still have well water, so I could not figure out why. That's why I posted it here.
