I thought some users here might be interested in seeing this. One of the farmers here in Cranbury asked me to video his Spinach operation, so I filmed and through this together yesterday...

Just curious: Is the spinach cleaned/washed by the distributor? |

Yes... the distributor washes and packages it in those cellophane bags you see at the supermarket. |

I know in the past they have taken some spinach down to town for residents. Are they doing this again? |

Not sure about that, but Pop's Market on Station Road in Monroe often sells Cranbury spinach. |

Rob,
This is a great video! I love the soundtrack, and I get nostalgic when I see that spinach truck rumbling down Main Street. Every week or so we are treated to a bag of fresh spinach by the local crossing guard -- my only problem is finding a use for all that greenery!! |
