I thought some users here might be interested in seeing this. One of the farmers here in Cranbury asked me to video his Spinach operation, so I filmed and through this together yesterday...

Cool, I like it. Wink

Just curious: Is the spinach cleaned/washed by the distributor?

Yes... the distributor washes and packages it in those cellophane bags you see at the supermarket.

I know in the past they have taken some spinach down to town for residents. Are they doing this again?

Not sure about that, but Pop's Market on Station Road in Monroe often sells Cranbury spinach.

Rob,

This is a great video! I love the soundtrack, and I get nostalgic when I see that spinach truck rumbling down Main Street. Every week or so we are treated to a bag of fresh spinach by the local crossing guard -- my only problem is finding a use for all that greenery!!
